Jason is no stranger in the world of reality television, fitness and music. He has been on TOP reality shows on VH1/MTV, appeared on several of films, fitness shows, as well as being a EDM Latin Pop Music Artist (jasonrosell.com). But one thing most do not know is that Jason was very fat most of his life. It is hard to believe when seeing him on TV or shirtless in music workout videos, but he was sure was a heavy hitter.

Tell us about yourself/background?

I was born and raised in Queens, New York and lived many years in Mardid, Spain, and summers in Puero Rico. I am 75% European from Spain and 25% Puerto Rican (US/SPAIN Nationality.) I was fat all my life until the age of 21. I have lived a life of stuggle and success. From working at every fast food restaurant, to having to quit highschool when my father left me and my mother, to later changing my life, losing all the weight, achieving four degrees in college, being a Reality TV personality, a working film/TV actor, and most currently being a fitness celebrity and music artista.

B.S. in Public Relations and International Marketing Management and Advertising. Certified Personal Trainer and nutrition expert.

How important is nutrition to get results from your workout?

80% is what you eat, 10% is training, 10% genetics.

What is your best eating tip for those who struggle to eat healthy?

Try to make sure your meals are no more than 500 calories and your snacks no more than 200 calories. Try try to eat at least 5 times a day.

How many meals do you eat per day?

3 meals 3 snacks

So many people think you have to work out for endless amounts of hours to get great results. How many hours per week do you workout and how long should the average person expect to spend working out to reap the benefits?

I try to be active atleast 5 times a week for 45 minutes. For anyone that wants to be healthy, look and feel sexy, they should try to workout full body workouts 3 times a week (free weights and cardio)

You have one of the most famous workout programs out right now #SexerciseWorkout, How did that come about?

Well,, being a music artist, I made the #Sexercise track to motivate people while they workout to listen to me and the great music, and then made the #Sexercise Music Video, and now the #SexerciseWorkout DVD. No one has ever done a workout program with original like this, and well,, it keeps growing and I love it! The best part about it, is that most people asume #Sexercise is a act of sex, but it is not. We can imagine that being a Celebrity Fitness instructor your services are very expensive, right?

Nope! I offer the best online nutrition and fitness plans as well as 2 week and detox plans for all budgets. 90% of my clients live in other states or countries and get as good as results as my 1 on 1 clients. I also offer 1 on 1 LIVE skype coaching and training sessions. All my plans are VERY affordable no matter the level of income. For what I charge, most people would spend just going shopping for a pair of shoes and an outfit. Where in return, once they do my plans, they will have their life change forever and be able to buy better things and live a happier life.

What’s different from you to other Celebrity instructors?

Well,, the fact that I was fat most of my life and that I know what it is like to be there. I also am super passionate about what I do, and take my time with all clients. I study everyones life-style. From the moment they wake up, to the moment they go to bed. Favorite foods, etc.. I make a customozed plan for each individual, as everyone has different gynetics, and goals. That is the KEY! And this is why I get my clients what they want.

How do you stay motivated?

I am always in competition with myself. I look back at where I came from, how I changed, and all the people that look up to me. I am blessed and want to continue helping as many people as I can.

Who has made the biggest impact on your life so far, and why?

My mother. She is my super hero as she has gone through the most struggle then any person I know, and kept me in check while always putting food and a roof over my head being a single mother and working 3 jobs. That is where I get my power from. Now, I do it for her ☺

What part of your job do you find the most challenging?

Making people believe that they can reach their goal. A lot of people are negative and do not believe in themselves! I am a lot more than a trainer, I motivate, and show others the light “Anything is Possible”!

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

Denzel Washington. He has achieved so much, I respect him and his work ethic, and the fact he keeps his life private. Privacy to me is priceless!

Name one your strengths?

I listen very well How do you spend your spare time? I do not have much of that. But when I do, I love to spend time laughing with my friends and just being silly doing anything, anywhere at any time! I love to live. I live to love.
