How many times have we all tried ‘healthy’ desserts that turned out not to be healthy at all?
Finally a healthy cookie that actually tastes amazing and is good for you that was created by a well- known Fitness Trainer Anke Albert . She hails from NYC and the Hamptons and has a huge following for her healthy baked goods as well as her fitness training.
Anke always loved weight training, boxing, running eating and baking. The only time Anke slows down is for a good healthy meal.
When she was growing up in Germany, her mother and grandmother would bake all their food from scratch, nothing pre-packaged just fresh ingredients.
Anke’s fondest memories are of cooking and learning from them. Desserts are important, cookies and cakes are very traditional afternoon snacks in Germany (in fact, coffee cake comes from the German kaffee & kuchen).
Anke was an athlete since being a young girl and was always interested in fitness. She trained and completed in the New York City Marathon.
When she met her husband-to-be, Chris, a fitness trainer and body builder, she knew she too wanted to become fitness trainer.
“I had a long and exciting career working as an executive at many five-star hotels in New York, Germany, and Argentina, and I apprenticed at a deluxe hotel and restaurant that is the home of a well-known gourmet pastry shop. I’ve always loved providing people with a happy, fulfilling experience,” stated Anke.
As a successful fitness trainer, who also loves good food, her clients began complaining about the lack of delicious, healthy snacks and desserts.
Anke thought back to her time baking with her mother and grandmother who always used fresh ingredients, and she began baking.
She experimented with dozens and dozens of recipes, using spelt flour instead of white, agave nectar and organic maple syrup instead of processed sugar. Among the many products she came up with are healthy, delicious brownies, peanut butter bars, ginger cookies, fruit muffins, cakes, fig bars, and granola.
“I use ingredients that humans have been eating for centuries.”
Grocery stores and even most health food stores stock what they consider to be so-called “healthy” energy bars that are made with ingredients we can’t even pronounce. Anke encourages you to read the labels! In many low-calorie snacks and desserts, most of the ingredients are processed.
She believes strongly that our bodies just don’t know what do with those manufactured components masquerading as food. We have a country with a serious obesity problem and health issues.
Anke founded: Anke’s Fit Bakery to bring together her two passions: exercise and baking.
Her baked goods are great for Holiday Gifts and for your holiday parties as well as for everyday healthy snacking.
Celebrities and well- known health experts have all raved about Anke’s Fit Bakery Cookies.
Her cookies and granola are available for sale in the NY area and available to ship everywhere. Once you order, we are warning you, you may have to hide a bag just for yourself as your family, friends and co-workers will devour these quickly!

About Anke Fit Bakery Cookies Ingredients
Ingestion of refined flours elevates the potential for diabetes, heart disease, stroke, cancer, and obesity.
These health risks can be reduced by using whole grain flours instead of refined flours. Secondly, refined flour products often contain a host of unnecessary chemical additives, as well as allergens such as wheat and gluten. Anke provide’s great tasting baked goods without of any of these ingredients.
Oats, Oat flour & Oat Bran: Beside all the benefits of oats that are constantly touted in advertisements and the press, oats and oat flour can be beneficial for people with a sluggish thyroid.
Spelt flour: Gluten sensitive people tolerate spelt better than any other grain. Spelt has special carbohydrates called mucopolysaccharides, which play a decisive role in blood clotting and stimulate the immune system. It contains far more crude fiber and protein than wheat.
Wheat is high in the allergen gluten. Gluten can cause digestive discomfort ranging from mild to severe. Wheat causes allergic reactions in many people, resulting in a range of physical and emotional problems such as gastric distress, congestion, and joint pain. Anke does not use it.
Sugars: Anke never uses refined white or brown sugar (which is essentially white sugar with coloring) in her baked goods. Sugar is never the first ingredient on any of her ingredient lists. She wants you to taste the flavors in all her ingredients, not just sugar.
In moderation Anke only uses:
Organic maple syrup * Organic agave nectar * Organic sucanat * Natural raw cane sugar
Fats: “Lower fat and good fats” is the motto of Anke’s Fit Bakery. Yes, I know that a stick of butter makes everything taste better – but not in my batter. I use canola and other healthy oils. Some extra nutritional fats are added by using nuts and seeds.
Once you try these, you will be a fan for life.
