We chat about her life with former WWE Superstar, actor, and current ROH World Champion husband Cody Rhodes, her professional wrestling career, her sucessful blog and the E!’s show.

Describe yourself in 3 words?

Confident, Adventurous and Caring

Where did you grow up?

Canton MI- a suburb of Detroit

What is your own definition of happiness?

Working makes me happy. A good work life balance is ideal to me.

How’s a typical day in your life?

No day is ever typical. Some days I’m doing photo shoots and editing my blog NotAnotherBasicB.com, other days I’m traveling the globe Wrestling and doing autograph signings, and other days I’m hanging on the couch with my husband and 3 dogs! Every day is different! All are so much fun!

How did you got selected for the show?

I was living in LA at the time and casting reached out to my management to see if I would be interested. At the time, I was working on another project but it still was able to work out!

How has your life changed after the TV Show? And having a camera crew around?

It hasn’t changed at all. I’ve been in the entertainment world for many years now, so I am used to cameras and crowds. The only difference was being able to add filming this show to my already rigorous schedule!

How is your relationship with the other cast members?

Fine. My involvement on the show was mainly grounded in my marriage and my career as a wrestler, and most of the girls seemed to admire these things in my life, and how I conduct myself as a wife and a career woman.

Do you guys have a script on what to do or say?

I did not. To me, it was very important to be genuine and authentic, not to pretend for cameras.

Can you share something funny that’s happened to you while filming?

I had to try and teach another cast member to wrestle. She had never been in a wrestling ring so naturally it was scary and awkward, but kind of funny too.

Any advice to other people thinking on share their lives on TV?

Make sure you understand that doing so opens you up to other people’s opinions and criticisms. If you can’t handle that, then it may not be for you.

What we can expect of E!’s “WAGS ATLANTA”?

Diversity in lifestyles and of course, plenty of drama!

What do you think makes a women beautiful and why?

I think a happy woman is always a beautiful woman. A woman with a nasty disposition, or someone who’s constantly feeling sorry for themselves but not doing anything to better themselves takes away from their beauty.

How’s life with Cody Rhodes?

It’s a blessing! I get to be married to one of the biggest stars in Wrestling, a man who has singlehandedly changed the scene in a year and a half’s time!  Not only is he extremely admirable in his career…but he’s the best looking man I’ve ever seen, and he has such a kind and loving heart. He keeps me laughing, which is so important. He deserves every bit of success and so much more!

Do you still compete in wrestling?

YES OF COURSE! I compete for the esteemed Ring of Honor’s Women of Honor division right now.  Wrestling not a hobby, it’s my profession and my life!

Did you miss the “Divas” life from WWE?

No. I love Women of Honor.

Who are your favorite fashion designers?

There isn’t enough room to list them all so I’ll offer a few: Cinq a Sept, Alexis, Alice & Olivia, and Haute Hippie.

What was the last book you read?

You Are A Badass.  Highly recommend.

What would be the dream holiday, and who would you go with?

I’ve been all over the world. But the one place I haven’t been is to Bora Bora. I’ll go there someday soon with my husband. Just us two.

What are your makeup bag staples when traveling?

I never leave home without my Guerlain foundation and my Anastasia brow pencil. I can get by on everything else, but those two are essential!

How did you stay fit?

I work out 6 days a week. I lift weights, I do cardio, and I do full body interval workouts. I keep myself challenged and I love it. Working out for me is fun!

What is your favorite healthy food?

I love anything made with ground turkey: meatballs, meatloaf, burgers. If it’s turkey I’ll probably like it.

And your favorite cheat food?

Pizza. I’ve never met a pizza that I didn’t like.

In five years from now, where do you see yourself and your career?

Tough question. I’m ever evolving so I don’t like to set limitations. I know that I will still be in entertainment for sure. They rest is still unwritten.

What music do you like?

I listen to 90s on 9 all day every day and no one can stop me.

What would be a deal breaker on a first date?

Lack of basic manners. If you can’t get the basics, they can’t be taught at this point.

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

Morgan Freeman. He’s my favorite actor and always gives off such a calming vibe.

Do you support any charity?

I’m a big Breast Cancer awareness supporter and I support many by way of my church, many local charities via a program called Be Rich.

3 things you can’t leave home without?

My phone, lip gloss and a bottle of water.

Idea of a perfect Sunday?

Church, gym, horror flick with my bae

What do you think of Social Media?

Love it! I have built a really large following that is so supportive! I love being able to share and interact with them almost daily.
