Meet beautiful fashion models and Dj’s Karolina (Poland) and Sophia (Germany), who are better known as Diamonds Djs.
They are creative personalities which are using electronic music to express themselves in a original way. Imagine an energetic combination of a dj set and electronic drums – everything connected with a hard drop of EDM .
One of the best fusions ever – live drums , dj and natural beauty. It´s the first female duo which are using live electronic drums in the world EDM scene. Everything solid like a shining stone… solid ,shiny and unusual ….like Diamonds.
How did you guys met?
We meet in Mexico City a few years ago. We worked together as models at a fashion show there.
In the begining we didnt thought that we will do a project together. But after some time we realize that it could be actualy a good idea to connect djing and drumming and create a live act.
When did you start DJing?
Me (Karolina) as a Dj around 2 years ago, and Sophie play the drums from around 5 years.
Does anyone in your family play music?
Noooouu, nobody. Everybody was kind deaf 🙂 hahaha
Explain your sound in 3 words?
Our sound ¨kick your ass¨ hahaha 🙂
What are your musical influences?
We try to get inspired by everything. Other music genres, different artists, producers. When something sounds fresh and good we definitely use that as some kind of inspiration. Drummers like Travis Barker or Phil Colins and a lot of other artists .
Who is your favorite producer?
Production wise Carnage or Tujamo. They create their own sound.
The best and worst thing of your job?
Best: When a few thousands of people is waiting for your beat drop and after they start to jump like crazy … it s a priceless moment!
Worst: We play always live with the drums …so we must do the ¨sound check¨ before the show …that is sometimes a ¨pain in the ass¨:)
Most people you ever played in front of?
“Water Castle Festival” in Aguascalientes, Mexico – 15.000 People. Ayy! That was ¨loco¨!

Hmm… something outside the box 😀 Diamonds Djs feat. Jimmy Page 🙂
What’s your biggest achievement and why?
Only after one year we get ranked on place 14¨ in the DJanneMag Top 100 List.

Funniest thing that ever happened at an event?
A group of 8 guys get naked in front of us during the play. That was a crazy night 😉

Maybe Los Angeles or Berlin.
