Check our interview with gorgeous actress Fiona Vroom who can be seen in the new “Power Rangers” hit movie as Abigail and as Sandy in the Original Nextflix series “Altered Carbon,” which is based on the novel by Richard K. Morgan.

Hi Fiona, please tell us a little about you?

I grew up in Vancouver and spent a large part of my childhood on a sailboat. I never take life too seriously, and I’m not sure if I will ever know how to be an adult.

Describe yourself in 3 words?

Shameless
Positive
Sensitive

Who is your biggest supporter?

My agent, Aaron Alexander. He has believed in me from the beginning.

How did you get started in the industry?

I started off training in ballet. I fell in love with the stage. I did a lot of theatre, and eventually wanted to try film acting. Never looked back.

What was your first acting role?

My first significant role was ‘Marion’ in my high school’s production of The Music Man.

What is the best and worst part of being an actor?

Best: Being able to use my imagination everyday

Worst: It’s unpredictable. You can’t plan anything, because you never know when you’re working.

Best advice ever given?

From my dad: “Find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

Tell us about your latest film “Power Rangers”? And about your character, Abigail?

This was such a fun show to work on. Abigail works at a jewelry store and Rita comes in looking for Gold, because that is what she needs to get stronger. We had a blast working together and actually improvised a lot of it.

What has been your most memorable experience from the set?

Probably working with Elizabeth Banks and getting to be part of a huge stunt. The store I work in gets blown up at the end of the scene and it was pretty cool watching that all come together.

Are you friends with the cast outside the cameras?

On some shows I’ve kept in touch with people and have made lifelong friends. I like when that happens.

What other projects you have been part of?

I’m currently working on a Netflix series called Altered Carbon, based on the book by Richard Morgan. It’s set in the future, where consciousness is digitized and stored in stacks and then implanted in the spine allowing humans to survive physical death. I play a Reporter named Sandy Kim.

Who is your favorite Actor/Actress? And why?

Actress: Goldie Hawn. She plays dumb really well, but she’s even better when she plays smart.

Actor: Neil Patrick Harris. He’s so versatile.

3 things you can’t leave your house without?

My Swell water bottle, a sense of humor, and Burt’s Bees lip balm.

What music do you like?

I love music. All different kinds. Usually stuff that you can dance to. Something that gets you moving and shaking.

Your idea of a perfect Sunday is?

Sleep in, eggs benny and a mimosa overlooking somewhere beautiful, a matinee.

How’s a normal day in your life?

What’s normal? Haha, I usually do some sort of work out, gym, dance class or yoga… work on an audition or prepare for set. Eat something bad for me, sleep, and repeat.

What is your favorite healthy food?

Are sandwiches healthy? I like Glory Juice Co. They have amazing vegan meals, so I will go there when I am feeling like I need a boost.

And your favorite cheat food?

Pizza and Pasta. Noodles. I love anything with noodles.

How do you see yourself in 5 years?

Working on projects that will take me all over the world. I’d like to travel to places to film.
