Newlywed beauty Mrs. Courtney Bingham-Sixx, AKA the amazing “How 2 Girl” knows how to throw a party: especially when it’s a DIY (do-it-yourself) party. Using Michael’s Arts & Crafts, Courtney taught 30 of her lovely friends how to make a Kentucky Derby Hat.
“I have always been fascinated by the traditions of the Kentucky Derby since I was a little girl,” said Courtney. Last Saturday on May 3rd, Courtney was able to bring those traditions to life.
At the Four Seasons Hotel in West Lake Village, guests were treated to exquisite southern cuisine. The ravishing beauty handmade each adornment of red roses that sat on each tabletop. Her guests enjoyed handcrafted cocktails as well as a Kentucky Derby tradition of a Mint Julep beverage.
Jordin Sparks, Adrienne Maloof, Heather McDonald, and ET’s Brooke Anderson attended Courtney’s luncheon. Dressed in fun Kentucky Derby attire, each lady looked absolutely stunning. With a buffet of traditional southern favorites including fried chicken and collared greens, guests had trouble saving room for the delectable desert table filled with mini cheesecakes and peach cobbler.
After enjoying the day with delicious dining, fun fashion, arts and crafts, and horse races; each guest received a Michael’s gift bag.
