Check our exclusive interview with gorgeous singer/songwriter Mariel Darling who has inspired thousands of young people across the east coast through her performances for major charity initiatives and headlined music festivals.
Over the last seven years, she has worked with numerous established producers. Her latest work is called “Unknown”.
“I wrote ‘Unknown’ because I was struggling with difficult life choices and was in a place where I was trying to find who I wanted to become. It’s challenging as a young adult to navigate life with the pressure of todays society. Through my music I hope to empower other young adults to find their voice, and to not cave into the status quo.”
Tell us about your new music video “Unknown”?
I wrote the song based on the fact that, I was transitioning into a teenager, and life experiences were taking me to the unknown. The unknown to me is the journey to adulthood and the unexpected life ahead. The video depicts the different personas that I’m exploring.
Where was it filmed?
The video was filmed in Brooklyn, NY.
