Describe yourself in 3 words?
Sweet, adventurous, goofy
Who is your role model?
My mother 🙂
How did you get started into acting?
I feel like I have been acting longer than I have, as modelling requires playing a role in front of the camera.
I think I didn’t start acting sooner because I was worried I wouldn’t remember my lines, but I’ve gotten past that fear now.
How has this changed your life?
I’ve learned so much in this process. Not just about acting but life and especially myself.
Tell us about your work in the film “To the Beat! Back to School?”
I was so lucky to be a part of this project. The crew are amazing and many of the cast are my friends.
To have a special guest appearance was an honour.
How was working with Jayden Bartels & Jake Brennan?
This wasn’t my first time working with Jayden, so it was great being on set with her again.
It was great getting to know Jake, he kept me laughing a lot!
What other projects you have been part of?
I have stayed busy working in Australia. Internationally it was exciting being a part of the Tourism Australia campaign in Asia.
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Definitely the people I get to meet and the friendships I form with others, as well as travelling as I love seeing new places.
What is your favorite healthy food?
And your favorite cheat food?
How would you explain your fashion style?
This is difficult because I feel I dress to my mood. Everything from beach boho to leather rock and roll.
How would your best friend describe you?
What’s next for Ivy Mae Anderson in 2019/2020?
Im looking forward to working on the Next To The Beat film and temporarily relocating to Los Angeles.
What is your own definition of happiness?
Being surrounded by the people I love.
How is a normal day in your life?
I don’t think any of my days are normal. Each day is usually so different from the last.
It actually makes it really hard to work to a schedule.
What is your idea of a perfect Sunday?
Great weather and in the surf with my friends.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Leonado Dicaprio, do you need to ask why..
Best advice ever given?
Keep it classy.
Do you support any charity?
Yes definitely, 2 Non Profit organisations I promote focus on protecting children from slavery and abuse. Operation Underground Railroad “OUR” and Thorn.
My second passion after ending human trafficking is wildlife and environmental protection, especially in our oceans.
Name 3 things you can’t live without?
Moisturiser, music and my mum.
Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?
Hopefully still doing what I love… In a James Cameron film would be great.
Favorite song? Why?
Sweet Child O’Mine – Guns N Roses. Because it never fails to get me in a good mood.
What music do you like?
All types really, once again I usually choose music based on my mood.
What do you think of Social Media?
Social media can be so amazing and help bring people together, some of my best friends I have met have been through Instagram.
Unfortunately too many are using it to hurt others without any real consequence with the current regulations, I think this should be changed.
