Hi Brandi, please tell us a little about you?
Well I am a fitness enthusiast! Lover of all things fitness and fashion! I’m a former ballerina and dancer. I love music, traveling , dirty martinis, writing , and I’m heavy into my spirituality.

Ambitious, Fearless, Creative
Who has made the biggest impact on your life so far, and why?
My Sister. I lost her in May 2019. after that I’ve been living for the both of us. Pushing myself harder , reaching goals i never thought would have been possible and I’ve just been living and moving completely different. That changed my entire life and after losing her I told myself I gotta keep going, keep pushing myself, and making my sister proud. For my family and for her.
How did you get started in the fitness field?
Well I started training back in 2014. After a really bad break up and domestic violence relationship that stripped me of my self confidence, i began going to the gym as a form of therapy. I noticed people asking me questions in the gym . I capitalized off that. I teamed up with a really good friend of mine, Quintin. He mentored me and showed me how to market myself and how to get and keep clients. 2 clients turned into 10 clients, 10 turned into 25! I had found my niche! And Summertime fine fitness was born!
What is the #1 thing you like about being into fitness?
I love that it gives me a glow about myself! I’m constantly ridding my body of toxins. I’m always putting good things in my body and I’m always working out which gives you endorphins! Endorphins make you happy. I’m working out , I’m glowing, I’m happy !
And about your successful fitness brand Summertime Fine Fitness?
Yes! That’s my baby ! It’s a women’s fitness clothing line that’s fun and makes you feel sexy during workouts! The fit and quality is amazing!!! I mean I’m biased of course lol but it really is amazing!
What is different from this fitness brand to others in the market?
It’s different because it’s fitness and athleisure wear with a street twist on it. I created some tour date style t shirts and hoodies and named the collection “FitChella”. I’m obsessed with music and concerts . So I brought the two together and created the idea of FITCHELLA.

Why did you decide to be an entrepreneur?
I just enjoy working for myself . I knew that i wasn’t put here to work for someone else. I love being able to be creative. Make my own schedule. I like to be able to be held accountable and making my own success.

Which project is still on your bucket list?
Opening my spin studios in 5 different cities.
What’s next for Brandi English in the last months of 2020?
A new launch of a new collection for STF FITNESS. And a re launch of 5 new products for my skin care line .
What type of food or supplements do you recommend before and after workouts?
Before: fruit smoothie, an açaí bowl, a good natural pre workout.
After: a protein shake my fave is All Mass. And a good protein based meal. And lots of WATER!
What is your own definition of happiness?
Happiness to me is how you create it for yourself. What genuinely makes YOU happy. No one, person, thing dictates your happiness. It comes from you. So if you’re not happy within yourself, no one else can give that to you. Create your own happiness by choosing YOU.

My sister. Every single day

What are your best 3 tips for someone looking to reach their goal physique?
- Drinks lots of water!!! At least half of your body weight in oz. every day!
- Lay off the fried foods, sodas, and cocktails
- Find out what diet and workouts work for YOU! All diets and training types aren’t for everyone. Find one that caters to your lifestyle and goals!
Name one your strengths?
I am extremely resilient. I’ve been through a lot. Like A LOT. And I honestly shock myself at how resilient I’ve been. I’m proud of myself for that.

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would want to meet Beyoncé. I love her. I just would want to sit and talk with her and pick her brain. I’m so inspired by her. Her as an artist, as a mommy, as a wife, as a mogul. She truly embodies feminism, exclusivity, and leadership and i love her for that.
Do you support any charity?
I do. LGBT human dignity trust
3 things you can’t leave home without?
Well excluding my mask now lol.. phone, lip gloss, and hand lotion. I cannot stand the feeling of dry hands.
Idea of a perfect Sunday?
I love lazy Sundays. Cooking good food and watching football or good movies all day in sweats.
What do you think of Social Media?
I love what social media has created for us millennials. It’s given us the ability to be creative and build a platform for ourselves. Now i don’t like that it has a lot of people brainwashed and living in a false sense of reality lol. But on the business side, it’s GREAT .
