Meeting JASMIN, the premiere fine art exhibition which celebrates the mind, body and soul connection, continues to build momentum. Located in the mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles, the pop-up exhibition has announced that former American Idol judge and Grammy award-winning producer, Randy Jackson and friends, will be attending plus the addition of LA native and superstar DJ, Caroline D’Amore, as its featured performer and an appearance by Raphael Vicnenzi, one of the three renowned digital artists whose art will be on display at the gallery event.
Raphael Vicenzi is globally recognized and widely respected for his experimental portraiture and striking mixed media collage works. With an impressive 72K+ followers on BeHance, his portfolio has been viewed a staggering 1.3 million times and his work has been commissioned by high-profile brands and featured in the coveted Taschen book, 100 Illustrators. Vicenzi’s portraits aim to capture the presence, character and feeling behind each female subject which makes him the perfect artist choice for the Meeting JASMIN storyline. Making the international voyage from Brussels, Belgium, Raphael will be available during the VIP Reception to discuss the inspiration and creative process behind his original works.
As one of the most sought after DJ’s in the LA area, Caroline D’Amore has been busy making her mark on the Hollywood scene. With her rise to fame recently documented by the Huffington Post, D’Amore has been thrilling audiences with her unique sound and cool, LA vibe. Originally making history as the “first female DJ to hold a residency in Las Vegas”, D’Amore now hosts Dash Radio’s “Heartbeatz” show, boasts an Instagram audience 40K+ strong and is releasing original music through Casablanca Records. The Meeting JASMIN exhibition is the perfect opportunity for D’Amore to celebrate the universal mind, body and soul connection through her inspired music mixes.
Featuring thirty-three original artworks by three artists, Meeting JASMIN was inspired by JASMIN models, with each piece of art portraying the many emotions people encounter upon first meeting a new friend, lover, or muse – lust, desire, understanding, empathy, mischief, and love. Each artist renders their own digital interpretation of a woman’s face and the story she tells, and purveyors of the art are left with their own interpretation of that story.
