When it comes to getting married, there are so many lists and plans to make. There are lots of considerations, including the venue, the food, the drink, the invitations, the photographs, and the clothes.
Perhaps the best part of the planning process is when you head off to for your bachelor weekend. Perhaps you’ve been to some places that you’d like visit again, or maybe you plan to try a new experience and have a party you’ll always remember.
Here are a few ideas.
Party in Prague
Europe is a great destination for bachelor weekends, and Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is one of the best places for fun and frolics. It is stunningly beautiful architecturally, and there are plenty of things to do, but one of the most attractive aspects if you want to have a few drinks is the low price of beer. Czechs pride themselves on their range of beers and their hospitality, and if you’re traveling from the UK, there are plenty of cheap flights and reasonably priced accommodations.
Head for a casino
There’s nothing quite like entering the world of casinos and pretending your name is Bond, James Bond. Mix in a bit of fantasy and some gambling together with sumptuous hotels and fine food and your bachelor party will be a winner. It doesn’t have to break the bank, either – but be careful with the gambling if you’ve had a few drinks – because casino cities such as Las Vegas and Macau often offer good deals on accommodations to encourage you to spend your money with them. There is a good chance you won’t step out of your casino site hotel, but if you do, there are many other attractions to explore.
A sporting weekend
If you’re a sports fan and so are your friends, a sporting weekend can be a great way to have a good time and take in some top sporting action. An afternoon or evening at a major ball game will get your party kick-started, and after the action, there will be plenty of time to head for a good restaurant followed by trying out some of the local bars. A good game at the highest level can get the adrenaline flowing, so whether it’s football, hockey, basketball or baseball, you’ll be watching athletes at their peak. After the wedding, you might even choose to make it a regular entertainment activity.
Activity weekend
You can be imaginative and book a high-performance driving experience for everyone at a racetrack. Get behind the wheel of an Aston Martin or a Ferrari, and you can all believe you’re the next world champion. Alternatively, you could go for a paintballing session for some energetic fun in the outdoors before heading off for some rest and relaxation with some tasty food and delicious cocktails.
Whatever you decide, you want to make sure your bachelor weekend is memorable for everyone, not just for you. Get the planning right, get everyone on board and get ready for the time of your life!
