On day 1, March 3rd, there was a kick-off featuring stunning designers such as Charmosa, Don Cheng, Liberate, SWAV apparel, Indie Soul, and many more. Opening day was held at Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach.

Don Cheng, a fashion designer from Hong Kong displayed his collection at the O.C. Fashion Week Show. Don Cheng showed off his work with beautiful dresses that were paired with statement necklaces. Each model wore sparkly jewels around their neck, which made the overall look elegant and ravishing.

For PitaHaya Swimsuits, their bright-colored swimsuits are a necessity this summer. Their bubbly Colombian vibe has a refreshing take on swimsuits. The colors used were very vibrant with simple patterns to add a tribal touch to these swimsuits.  This contemporary swimwear collection shows trends true to Colombian heritage, but is still fresh for the modern woman.

Indie Soul showed off bodacious models with their fiery swimsuits. The designs are Miami based although Tim Gorgol, creative director, was originally a New Yorker. The brand is bohemian meets handcrafted luxury apparel. In this particular collection, there were a lot of warm colors used such as orange and red to give an edgy look. There were also plenty of slouchy bags to match this beachy vibe.

Charmosa swimwear amazed us with their O.C. take on fashion. The hats were lovely as well as the dresses that gave off a very summer-like feel. The earrings were long and tribal, which added to the overall looks. And of course, their bathing suits reminded us that we need to work on those summer bodies to sport these beauties!
