Please tell us about you
I am a 21-year-old content creator from Scotland. I love anime, painting, drawing, music and traveling! I absolutely LOVE to travel!
Describe yourself in 3 words
I’d say kind-hearted, hilarious, and unapologetic.
We are sure you have been asked this a million times: how did you get into the industry?
I started when I was 13 creating content for YouTube. I stopped for a bit because I was getting bullied, but then I continued again at age 16 and fell in love with TikTok.
How has this changed your life?
I grew up in schemes (similar what Americans call projects), and I was not well off by any means. I did leave school when I was 15, so I had no job prospects and I definitely had a difficult upbringing. I started using social media and it opened up the world to me. I am now able to support my family, which has been a blessing. It is a very freeing job, changing my life for the best.
Who influenced you?
In all honesty, the biggest influencers have and always will be my sisters! The women in my family are unique, unapologetically themselves, and strong-minded. I really look up to them and the women in my family. I take inspiration from my sisters. They have always had a unique sense of sisterhood, and my younger sister actually used to dress me!
Now let’s talk about Twitch and how big your name and exposure have grown over the last few months.
I created my own twitch channel at the start of 2022/end of 2021. I think my account and style definitely differ from those of other gamers. I hate to say it, but I do suck at games lol. No one is really coming to watch me on Twitch for the skill, much less my personality.
Favorite game?
My favorite game of all time is Genshin Impact.
How often do you release new content or play online?
My goal is to put new content out at least once a day or at least 5 times a week. Consistency is key.
What would you say is the most rewarding part of work?
Seeing the impact I have on people! Oftentimes, I’ll meet people in the street and they tell me how they have seen me on social media and will tell me that my content has made them feel more comfortable and taught them to be themselves! I think it’s really special to be a light for younger people!
You are followed by so many people; how do you feel the pressure to always do the right thing?
Honestly, it is so scary and I do feel a lot of pressure. Sometimes, I feel like I don’t have the same type of allowance to make mistakes and I always feel the pressure to be perfect all the time, which is just not attainable! Nonetheless, I do love my job!!
If you weren’t famous, what would you be up to?
I think I would be a baker. I have always loved baking! I am known in my family for being the one who bakes. I literally have a baking simulation game because I love it so much!
What book should every entrepreneur read?
Letters to a Starseed: Messages and Activations for Remembering Who You Are and Why You Came Here, which is about remembering who you are and why you came here, is very spiritual and reminds you that you have a purpose! I am really enjoying it.
What would you tell your younger self and why?
I would tell her to keep going. When I was around the ages of 16 and 17, I was in such a dark moment of my life. If I had known at the time that those feelings were temporary, I feel like it would have helped me tremendously then.
If you were to write a book about Eva, what would the title be?
I’d make the title “I’m not Irish” because everyone thinks I am Irish!
What’s next for Eva in 2024?
Consistency—that’s my main goal. Trying to get back into the habit of being consistent and eating healthier!
