Tell us a little about yourself
HEY! My name is Noa DiBerto, and I am 19 years old, born November 3, 2004, in Toronto, Ontario. I have an extreme passion for acting and modeling. You might recognize me best from my starring role as Rachel in the highly acclaimed feature film ‘Backspot,’ which premiered at TIFF 2023 and is set to make its theatrical premiere in May 2024. I’ve also had the pleasure of playing the lead role of Ella Hopper in the 2021 feature film ‘Olympians at Heart’.
I set myself apart with highly athletic roles and can do all my stunts thanks to my athletic background. I was a competitive gymnast from the age of 4 to 18 and have been awarded numerous top rankings in the province. I competed in both artistic gymnastics and, most recently, in power tumbling. Additionally, I have a background in dance and am currently competing in level 7 co-ed cheerleading. I’m thrilled to be part of the University of Western Ontario Coed Cheerleading team and proud to have won the 2023 and 2014 National Championships.
Outside of acting and modeling, I am a full-time student who studies business and psychology, pursuing a dual degree! As an internet personality on TikTok and other social media, I love to sing, ski, surf, play soccer, and make people laugh. My love of acting, charisma, and incredible energy set me apart, and I’m excited to take on more exciting projects in the near future and am grateful for all of my experiences thus far!
Describe yourself in three words.
Confident, Outgoing, Funny
How did you get started in acting?
The spark and passion for acting was within me when I took my first steps. I was always fascinated with being the star of any videos my family and friends would take, which led to my passion for performance.
Watching television shows and movies, I was endlessly inspired by the actors and captivated by the magical world behind the scenes.
The intricate process of writing, recording, and creating visual stories mesmerized me, drawing me deeper into the realm of acting. My journey into acting began during my formative years, with my active involvement in the drama club from first through eighth grade, laying a solid foundation for my future in acting. High school marked a period of significant growth and dedication as I immersed myself in drama classes and participated in every theatrical performance available from ninth to twelfth grade. My leadership role in the drama club in my senior year and my close relationship with my drama teacher—whose son was already making strides in television—further solidified my love of acting. In elementary school, I began fitness modelling, an experience that sparked a deep appreciation for the art of photo shoots and visual storytelling through campaigns.
Joining the theatre in high school was a transformative experience that offered me a fresh perspective on acting, distinct from television and film.
I helped write the scripts, used my physical ability in scenes, added acting games and tips, and choreographed countless scenes into the final product.
This exposure and summer acting classes heightened my eagerness to dive into the professional acting world and helped me gain experience in all that goes into a film/performance. Additionally, my mother (a former television actor), and a beacon of positivity and an endless source of inspiration, played a crucial role in fueling my ambition.
Her stories of her own acting experiences and the captivating tales of the actors she worked alongside reminded me daily of my aspirations. Her influence constantly reminded me of the dream I pursued and the legacy I hoped to build. Now, as a part of the acting industry, my experiences have surpassed even my wildest dreams.
Being on set and interacting with fellow actors and crew members, I am continuously reminded of my profound love for this craft. Acting for me is not just a profession; it’s a calling that brings joy, laughter, and fulfillment. Each moment on set is a cherished memory, an affirmation that acting is indeed my passion, and I find my greatest happiness in its pursuit. It’s a realm where work transcends obligation, becoming a pure expression of love for the art.
How has this changed your life?
Acting has truly changed my life, igniting a sense of fulfillment and happiness unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Acting does not feel like work; it’s a passion that propels me forward with boundless energy and enthusiasm. Through acting, I’ve crossed paths with remarkable individuals whose wisdom and insights have enriched my understanding of the craft and reshaped my perspective on life. Discovering my passions in athletics, sports, acting, and modeling has empowered me to embrace creativity and resilience in all aspects of my life. These diverse interests have infused my journey with purpose and drive, guiding me toward a path where I can fully express myself and make meaningful contributions to the world around me.
I firmly believe that everyone has the potential to uncover their own spark of magic and pursue their dreams with unwavering determination. By embracing a positive mindset—what I like to call the “power of positive thinking” or POPT—we can navigate life’s twists and turns with grace and resilience. Even when faced with setbacks, investing in ourselves and staying true to our aspirations can lead to extraordinary achievements when the time is right. In essence, acting has not only transformed my career but also my outlook on life. It has taught me the importance of dreaming big, persevering through challenges, and seizing every opportunity with optimism and tenacity. As I continue this journey, I’m grateful for the transformative power of acting and the endless possibilities it has brought into my life.
What is the best and most challenging part of being an actress?
It is challenging to single out a favorite aspect of acting when I genuinely cherish every part of the process. Whether it’s the exhilaration of preparing to inhabit a character and recording an audition, the thrill of progressing to the next round in call backs, or the sheer joy of receiving the call confirming that I have landed the role, each phase holds a special place in my heart.
However, my two favorite aspects of acting are: 1) Getting to know the actors and crew members I’ll be collaborating with is one of the most heartwarming aspects of being on set. It’s like forming a family where everyone brings unique experiences and wisdom to the table. From the talented actors to the dedicated director to the skilled makeup and hair stylists, each person I meet adds something special to the mix. The love, advice, and exchanging of experiences connect us and make for an incredible movie/TV show. The film industry truly feels like a warm and inviting community, and the excitement of meeting new people on set never fades. Acting isn’t just a job for me—it’s my top priority in life. Being on set every day fills me with a sense of purpose and fulfillment that I can’t find anywhere else. Nothing else I’ve been a part of has brought me the same level of joy and fulfillment as acting, and I’m reminded of that every day.
Secondly, I love stepping into different characters. In our everyday lives, we’re often stuck being ourselves, with our likes and dislikes set in stone. But with acting, there are no boundaries. You can become anyone and do anything. It’s like unlocking a door to a whole new world of possibilities. Feeling a character’s emotions, whether it’s happiness, sadness, strength, or vulnerability, is truly magical. Each scene teaches me something new, both about myself and the character I’m portraying. And the best part? I get to share these experiences with the audience, evoking compassion and understanding for my character.
Acting has brought so much joy into my life. It’s not just a job—it’s a passion that fills me with happiness every day. The anticipation of what character I’ll play next, the excitement of being on set—it’s all so exhilarating. Acting has given me a sense of belonging like nothing else. I’m grateful for every moment I spend pursuing my dreams in this amazing industry. That’s what I love most about acting—it’s not just about pretending; it’s about discovering new parts of myself and sharing them with the world.
The most challenging aspect is the competitiveness of the industry. Sometimes, I may feel like I did an incredible job in an audition, but I do not hear back. This can make actors get down on themselves, which makes it challenging as it is not up to you whatsoever. It is about the vision crews and casting directors have, and as actors, we must be okay with this and do our best regardless. Especially after COVID-19, many auditions are self-tapes, which takes away from meeting the casting Director and people involved in a more personable manner (in person). Considering I am a people person, I love meeting the directors in person so we can get a sense of each other more efficiently and in a more personable manner.
How do you prepare for a role?
When it comes to preparing for auditions, I like to dive right in as soon as I get the script. I spend about an hour really immersing myself in the storyline and characters, envisioning how my character fits into the narrative. My background in psychology helps me step into their shoes and understand their emotions and reactions. Once I’ve got a good grasp on the role, I practice my lines out loud and sometimes record myself to see how they come across. Before falling asleep, I run through the lines several times to ensure they’re firmly lodged in my memory.
On the day of the audition, I make sure to slate in a different outfit from what I’ll be wearing for the scenes. This gives casting directors a variety of looks to consider, showcasing my versatility.
If I am on set after booking a role, I make sure that I understand the Director’s vision so I can prepare for the role to the best of my abilities. I take a couple of moments to envision in my head how I am going to portray my character and her feelings, and then I go for it and fix any given corrections.
Tell us about your work as Rachel in the highly acclaimed cheerleader feature film “Backspot”
In the film, I play Rachel, a comical, uplifting character who wants to make her friends laugh and be there for them. I perform all of my stunts, and in the film, I am seen as a spirited cheerleader with a gymnastics background. It’s been such a joy to embody Rachel in the film, bringing her positive energy and comic relief as she navigates the competitive cheer world alongside Riley and Amanda, showcasing athleticism and resilience. I’m beyond excited for audiences to see it! Rachel goes through a rollercoaster of emotions throughout the film, and it’s truly fascinating. I can’t wait for people to see how she expresses, or sometimes holds back, her feelings and what she shares about her inner struggles. What I admire most about Rachel is how she reveals the complexity of human nature, showing that it’s perfectly okay not to always be cheerful. My character highlights the importance of reaching out for support when needed, even though she’s seen as the upbeat friend. The movie beautifully captures this aspect, particularly through Rachel’s journey, and I’m thrilled for audiences to connect with Rachel and find resonance in her story.
How was working alongside such a talented cast including Devery Jacobs and Evan Rachel Wood?
Working alongside these two incredible actors, as well as Wendy Crewson and more, was an unforgettable experience. They both taught me valuable lessons and fueled my determination even more to pursue my dreams of becoming a successful actor, just like them. It was incredibly rewarding to receive praise from them and the director, especially when they commended my performance or deemed a scene perfect from the first take. Their encouragement meant the world to me, considering their immense talent and achievements.
This film allowed me to really get to know them personally, and we shared so many laughs and talks about their various projects, learning valuable insights on embodying different characters. It was an honour to share the set with actors in major movies and with incredible talent that I look up to. Sometimes, people may change with success or popularity, but everybody on set was so kind and really had everyone else’s best interest in mind, despite how big of an actor you were. I have never been on a set that was so genuine and heartwarming. Beyond the set, these talented individuals also supported me in my personal growth, showing genuine care for my well-being. They offered valuable advice on advancing my career and navigating the industry, drawing from their own experiences. Their guidance accelerated my journey as an actor, and I deeply appreciated their unwavering support.
Even today, they remain a constant source of encouragement and support, feeling more like family than co-stars!
How do you prepare for a challenging role, especially when it requires you to step far outside of your own experiences or personality?
When it comes to preparing for auditions, I like to dive right in as soon as I get the script. I spend about an hour really immersing myself in the storyline and characters, envisioning how my character fits into the narrative. My background in psychology helps me step into their shoes and understand their emotions and reactions. As someone with a background in psychology, I find that my understanding of human behavior deeply informs my approach to preparing for challenging roles. Research plays a crucial role as I examine the character’s background, motivations, and experiences by studying real-life situations and consulting relevant literature.
Additionally, my training in psychology enhances my capacity for empathy and understanding, enabling me to connect with the character’s emotions, struggles, and perspectives on a profound level.
Once I’ve got a good grasp on the role, I practice my lines out loud and sometimes record myself to see how they come across. Before falling asleep, I run through the lines several times to ensure they’re firmly lodged in my memory. Also, when it is a word or industry I don’t fully understand, I make sure to do research on the topics at hand and the words I need to respond to and or say in the scene. This helps me not only learn but also take on the challenge of acting as someone who is not like myself and doing it correctly to portray that envisioned character well.
Of all the characters you’ve portrayed, which one do you feel closest to or most proud of, and why?
Playing Rachel in “Backspot” has been an incredibly fulfilling experience for me. While portraying Ella Hopper in “Olympians at Heart” challenged me physically and artistically, Rachel’s character resonates with me on a deeply personal level. Throughout the filming process, I received uplifting feedback from both the cast and respected actors such as Devery Jacobs, Evan Rachel Wood, and Wendy Crewson, which filled me with immense pride. Many of my scenes were captured in one take, a testament to the collaborative synergy on set and the director’s confidence in my performance. Channeling Rachel’s strength, resilience, and vulnerability allowed me to showcase my acting skills in a way that I am truly proud of. It’s moments like these that remind me of the profound connection I feel to the characters I portray and the rewarding nature of storytelling through film.
What kind of roles do you like or would like to play, and why?
I’m drawn to roles that captivate the audience and keep them on the edge of their seats, prompting them to think deeply and immerse themselves in the character’s experiences. One type of role that particularly intrigues me and that I’ve yet to explore is that of a character in a horror movie. Horror and thriller films are my favorite genre because of their mind-twisting and immersive nature. I’m fascinated by the psychological complexities of characters in these films and the intense emotional buildup they often entail. Playing a character in a horror movie would allow me to challenge myself and delve into the depths of fear, suspense, and psychological turmoil. I relish the opportunity to keep audiences guessing and to portray a character whose journey elicits a visceral response from viewers. Additionally, I’m drawn to the unique storytelling opportunities that horror movies provide, as they often explore themes of human nature, survival, and the supernatural in thought-provoking ways. Overall, the prospect of playing a character in a horror film excites me because it offers the chance to engage with audiences on a thrilling and suspenseful level while delving into the complexities of human emotion and psyche.
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
The most rewarding part about being an actor lies in the ability to transport audiences to different worlds, evoke powerful emotions, and provoke thought through storytelling. As an actor, I have the privilege of stepping into the shoes of diverse characters, each with their own unique experiences and perspectives. Whether it’s bringing joy and laughter through a comedic performance or stirring empathy and introspection with a dramatic portrayal, the impact of connecting with audiences on an emotional level is profoundly rewarding. Furthermore, seeing the transformative effect that storytelling can have on viewers, whether it inspires, entertains, or challenges them, is a testament to the power of the art form. Ultimately, the opportunity to touch hearts, provoke thought, and leave a lasting impression through the medium of acting is what makes the journey as an actor truly fulfilling and rewarding. Also, understanding and embodying the director’s vision for a project is incredibly fulfilling, as it provides a clear sense of purpose. Additionally, receiving feedback from viewers on social media about the film and my portrayal of the character is gratifying. Hearing from people of all ages who express their appreciation for the character and my performance is rewarding, knowing that it resonated with them personally.
What advice would you give to aspiring actors who look up to you and want to follow in your footsteps?
Firstly, I believe having an idol is invaluable advice for aspiring actors. For instance, I greatly admire Rachel McAdams for her versatility in portraying a wide range of characters, from a mean girl in “Mean Girls” to an emotional role in “The Notebook.” Looking up to such idols not only provides motivation but also helps in shaping the types of roles one aspires to play. Secondly, it’s crucial for aspiring actors to grasp the competitive nature of the industry and not be disheartened by setbacks. Understanding that casting decisions are often beyond one’s control is essential for navigating the highs and lows of auditions. Additionally, it’s vital to recognize that actors have a voice and can contribute ideas to directors and other collaborators. Speaking up about discomfort or offering suggestions demonstrates assertiveness and ensures a safe and collaborative working environment. It’s essential for actors to realize their agency and advocate for themselves in the industry.
How and when did you start modeling?
I began my modeling journey in my early teens, around 2016, when I served as the youth ambassador and events model for Ivivva Canada, a division of Lululemon. This role involved hosting events, inspiring young athletes, and promoting the brand’s products while showcasing various sports across the city. From there, I continued participating in various marketing events and fitness modeling opportunities, representing brands like Acro Yoga Academy and K Be You Brand. My athleticism proved a valuable asset in my modeling career, allowing me to embody strength and flexibility in poses for fitness shoots and showcasing the beauty of athleticism in a different light.
What is fun and rewarding about modeling?
One of the most rewarding aspects of modeling is the opportunity to collaborate with diverse brands and serve as a brand ambassador and influencer. From representing fitness brands to partnering with television series like ‘The Amazing Race Canada,’ modeling has allowed me to engage with a wide range of audiences and inspire young athletes. Additionally, being featured in published Yoga and wellness books and participating in unique partnerships with television shows have been exciting highlights of my modeling journey. Overall, modeling provides a platform to showcase athleticism, promote wellness, and inspire others while engaging in creative collaborations with brands. It’s truly fulfilling to have the opportunity to highlight the strength and resilience of women and the importance of health and fitness. While modeling often conjures images of runway glamor and specific body standards, fitness modeling has been a particularly rewarding avenue for me. Maintaining both mental and physical health is paramount, and I’m grateful to have been able to prioritize fitness in my life. Being able to serve as a role model and demonstrate the benefits of strength and wellness to others is something I consider a privilege.
And what is more challenging?
In my experience, I find acting to be more challenging compared to fitness modeling. While I currently devote more of my energy to acting, I’m eager to explore additional fitness modeling opportunities in the future. However, the acting industry is notably more competitive, presenting greater challenges and potentially fewer opportunities than fitness modeling. In fitness modeling, a broader range of avenues is available, including brand ambassadorships and submissions to various magazines, providing more avenues for involvement and exposure.
Can you name a few of the brands you are working with or have worked with?
Some of the brands I’ve had the privilege of working with include Ivivva Canada (a division of Lululemon), Acro Yoga Academy, and K Be You Brand. In my role as a youth ambassador and events model for Ivivva Canada, I had the opportunity to host events, inspire young athletes, and promote the brand’s products while showcasing various sports across the city. Additionally, I represented K Be You Brand as a fitness model from 2020 to 2022, embodying the image of strong, powerful, and fit women. Recently, I’ve also partnered with Natasha Nastova Photography and Le Désir Magazine, where I will be featured on the cover of the January Edition, highlighting our collaborative work. Additionally, I am thrilled to have been selected as a candidate for the Ms. Health and Fitness Cover shoot for the Muscle and Fitness HERS magazine cover, reflecting my commitment to health and fitness.
What did you learn from your biggest failure?
My most significant failure taught me a valuable lesson about resilience and perseverance. In the past, I struggled with disappointment when I didn’t receive feedback or acknowledgment after auditioning for roles I felt confident about. However, this experience taught me an important truth: setbacks are inevitable in the competitive world of entertainment, and success often requires patience and resilience. I realized that dwelling on perceived failures only hinders progress and growth. Instead, I learned to channel that energy into continuous improvement and maintain a positive mindset. Understanding that rejection does not reflect my worth or abilities allowed me to navigate the industry with greater resilience and determination. Every audition, whether successful or not, serves as an opportunity for growth and learning. Embracing this mindset has empowered me to persevere in the face of adversity and remain steadfast on my journey toward achieving my goals in acting and modeling.
The most important thing when you are shooting is:
When shooting, one of the most crucial aspects is delivering a performance that aligns with the director’s vision and effectively communicates the character’s emotions and motivations. As an actor, my primary focus is to immerse myself fully in the role, allowing me to authentically experience and embody the character’s emotions. This involves delving deep into the characters’ psyche and understanding their backstory, motivations, and journey arc throughout the film. By tapping into these layers of complexity, I can bring depth and authenticity to the character, enriching the storytelling process and engaging the audience on a deeper level.
Moreover, it’s essential to collaborate closely with the director and fellow cast members, fostering a supportive and creative environment on set. This collaborative spirit allows for the exploration of different interpretations and ideas, ultimately enhancing the overall quality of the performance and the film. Additionally, maintaining professionalism and adaptability throughout the shoot is paramount, as it ensures a smooth and efficient production process.
Ultimately, the most important thing when shooting a movie is not only delivering a compelling performance but also contributing to the cohesive vision of the film. By committing fully to the character and storyline, I can help bring the director’s vision to life and create a memorable cinematic experience for audiences.
What do you think is the secret to having a successful social media channel?
The key is to simply be yourself. When you share content that genuinely reflects who you are and what you enjoy, you naturally attract an audience who resonates with your authenticity and supports you. While social media can sometimes become a breeding ground for comparison and negativity, staying true to yourself ensures that you attract a community that uplifts and supports you. Personally, I’ve found it helpful to disable notifications on my social media accounts, a habit I’ve maintained since my TikTok following began to grow when I was just 15. This approach allows me to engage with social media on my own terms, rather than being constantly drawn in by notifications. It’s a strategy that helps me maintain a healthy balance and prevents me from getting overly consumed by the platform, which can sometimes lead to a negative mindset. Even today, I continue to keep my notifications turned off across all my social media platforms.
What would you say are the greatest lessons you have learned so far in this business?
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned in this business is the importance of investing in oneself. To truly succeed in the acting industry, it’s crucial to continually seek opportunities for growth and development. This means asking questions, conducting thorough research, and actively investing in classes, workshops, and experiences that expand your skill set and knowledge base. Whether it’s honing your craft through acting classes, gaining valuable on-set experience, or working with a publicist to enhance your visibility, each investment contributes to your overall growth and success as an actor. Additionally, I’ve come to understand the significance of embracing diverse experiences within the industry. From auditioning for different roles to working on various projects, each opportunity offers valuable insights and lessons that contribute to a deeper understanding of the industry as a whole. By immersing oneself in different aspects of the acting world, one can gain invaluable experience and insights that ultimately pave the way for long-term success. Although it may seem hard to invest initially, you need to think about the future and how badly you want to become a famous actor. For myself, I am 100% certain that this is what I want to do with my life, and it is my number one priority. Therefore, when thinking about the future, I understand that I need to put money, time, and effort into this wholeheartedly to succeed.
How do you manage your busy schedule with your personal life?
Managing my busy schedule amidst various commitments has been a significant aspect of my life, one that I’ve navigated with structure, prioritization, and open communication. Balancing my roles as an athlete, a student pursuing a dual degree in business and psychology, and an actor demands careful planning and clear priorities. Despite my involvement in multiple pursuits, acting takes precedence for me, and I’m willing to rearrange my schedule or make sacrifices when necessary to accommodate auditions and acting opportunities. Maintaining clarity about my goals and aspirations helps guide my decision-making process, ensuring I stay focused on what truly matters to me. Effective communication is also key in managing my commitments; I make a point to communicate openly with all parties involved, whether it’s coaches, teachers, or colleagues, to keep them informed of my availability and commitments. By fostering transparency and understanding, I’ve found that people are often willing to accommodate my schedule and offer support when needed. Additionally, I’ve learned to recognize my own rhythms and preferences, such as being a night owl, which allows me to optimize my productivity and study effectively. While my schedule may seem overwhelming at times, I view it as a positive aspect of my life, embracing the opportunities and experiences it brings. In moments of stress or overload, I remind myself that I have the agency to make adjustments and prioritize my well-being. Overall, maintaining organization, fostering open communication, and remaining grateful for the opportunities I have are integral to successfully managing my busy life.

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Firsty, If I could meet someone, living or dead, it would be Adam Sandler. His comedy has always resonated with me, bringing laughter and joy into my life. Whether it’s his witty one-liners or his ability to improvise hilarious scenes, Adam’s humor always brightens my day. As someone who often takes on comedy roles, I admire his natural delivery and ability to make even the most ordinary dialogue feel vibrant and engaging. His down-to-earth personality, reflected in his choice of comfortable clothing, is also something I appreciate. Also, with my mom’s first hand experience of working with Adam Sandler in her 20s when she was an actor and her description of him as funny and personable, meeting him would be a fantastic opportunity to learn from a comedic legend and would be such a fun experience. I believe hearing his advice in this industry would be so helpful.

Best advice ever given?
Firstly, my dad recently shared with me a comforting reminder amidst the stress of a major business exam: “As long as you’re learning, you have already won.” He emphasized that the journey of learning is a victory in itself. This resonated with me, especially given my constant striving for top grades. His words underscored the importance of acquiring knowledge beyond mere memorization, highlighting the value of practical understanding applicable to real-life situations. Secondly, my mom’s timeless advice to “do your best, that’s all you can do” is a guiding principle in navigating life’s challenges. Though simple, its wisdom is profound. It reinforces that maximum effort is the ultimate measure of success, guarding against the pitfalls of burnout and self-criticism. Whether in acting or life in general, as long as you give it your all, you can never be mad at yourself because you know you did your best.
Do you support any charities?
Firstly, beyond cheerleading competitions, I actively engaged in charitable endeavours, volunteering at two events that aimed to inspire individuals with special needs through interactive cheer experiences. This event was called The Special Olympians games which was hosted by the western kinesiology’s association. Throughout this volunteering event, I led numerous cheers and lifted people in the air, giving them the best cheerleading experience possible.
Secondly, I’m deeply passionate about motivating youth to engage in sports and embrace the wealth of opportunities. This commitment has led me to participate in the Santa Claus Parade for two consecutive years with the varsity Co-Ed cheerleading team, showcasing the joy and teamwork inherent in sports. I also donate money and support KidSport, which enables kids to participate in sports while covering the costs. I donate as fitness has benefited me greatly & I feel everyone deserves access to health and sports. Covering costs enables girls to partake, empowering them to embrace an active lifestyle.
Third, I support sorority fundraiser events. I helped raise over eight thousand dollars last year and another seven thousand this October for children across North America. This fundraising event is called Lip Sync for Literacy, and it is a fun karaoke event that allows anyone to pay for a ticket. All the money goes to kids across North America for programs to help them learn to read and provide them with books and resources. During this event I showcased my physical abilities by doing flips to drew in the crowd to make it extra fun! I also participated in other sororities’ fundraising events, such as air bands for CASA, which helped foster kids in court. This fundraiser donates money to CASA volunteers who thoroughly examine a child’s case and must make recommendations to the court based on the child’s best interests.
Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years?
In the next five years, I aspire to cross paths with even more remarkable individuals within the acting industry. Meeting these inspiring figures is a humbling experience, as we share a mutual passion for our craft and appreciate the opportunities and challenges that come with it. One of my dreams is to land a role in a horror/thriller movie, a genre I’ve always been drawn to and is on my bucket list. Additionally, I hope to secure roles in various films and TV series, including the chance to become a recurring character in a TV show. Being part of a series would provide ongoing creative fulfillment and the opportunity to build lasting connections with fellow cast members. Over the next five years, I aim to continue spreading positivity and inspiration through my acting journey, sharing my diverse experiences from sports, education, and acting.
My ultimate goal is to showcase my versatility as an actor through a range of projects, potentially filming in different parts of the world to broaden my perspective and film in new locations. I’m SO excited about the possibilities that lie ahead in my acting career and eager to embrace new opportunities, connect with fellow actors, and engage with audiences through interviews and events. I hope my dedication and passion for acting will lead to meaningful success and recognition in the industry.
Favorite song? Why?
“Let her go” by Passenger is my favorite song overall. It has so many hidden messages, portraying the message that the grass is not always greener on the other side. It puts things in perspective: value people and experiences while you have them, and never take anything for granted because it can be gone in a second. This is why I strive to enjoy my life experiences to the fullest.
Also, One Republic’s song “I Lived “is another favourite. This song truly showcases how and why you must embrace your life to the absolute fullest. It is such a motivational song and pushes people to be the happiest they possibly can be. This motivates me to pursue acting, as this is my passion, and makes me feel like “I’ve lived.”
What do you think of social media?
I think social media can be beneficial and educational. It is also a fantastic way to connect with others in my study fields, fellow actors, and idols. I love how it gives me a platform to post about my passions and beliefs and spread positivity, as I feel like nowadays, social media can be very toxic and can upset people because of beauty standards and comparing themselves. Social media offers a unique platform for me to promote connection, creativity, and self-expression, and I’ve found great joy in harnessing its positive aspects. One of my favorite aspects of social media is the opportunity to share laughter and joy with others through funny content. Whether it’s a silly meme, a lighthearted video, or something funny that happened that day, spreading laughter brings a sense of warmth and camaraderie to online communities. Moreover, I believe in using my platform to showcase the reality of everyday life, promoting authenticity and inclusivity. By sharing realistic content that reflects the diverse experiences of real people, I hope to foster a safe space where individuals feel empowered to embrace their uniqueness and reject harmful beauty standards. Through genuine representation and humour, I strive to cultivate a digital environment that celebrates individuality and encourages self-love and acceptance. Thus, I feel like social media can be incredible if used in moderation and if you follow people who uplift you.
