Which spring textures to incorporate in the living room

Move over velvet, mohair and shag. Spring is all about linens, silk blends, copper and flat weaves! This spring I’m especially eyeing these fabrics in peachy, coral and cream tones. Whether it’s a new sofa, new area rug, some new stools, new side tables or just a few new throw pillows – it’s easy to your living room a spring lift!

I think changing your area rug to something light and bright will give your living room the biggest impact change! Our rugs are usually the biggest and most defining piece in our room – so bringing in the spring colors and textures here will bring the biggest change!

Intertwining metallic and pastel colors to create a vibrant bedroom

The bedroom is all about tranquility to me…Designs that look great but in a color palette that is soothing. The best colors to achieve this tranquil vibe are pastels. I know what you’re thinking – snoozefest. But if you use pastels as your base or accent color along with metallic like silver and gold – you can achieve fabulous, vibrant yet soothing looks! Pastel tones like light grays, light mint sea foam tones, whites, creams and peaches are among my favorites for the bedroom. White bedding should preferably be monogrammed in the same color as your walls or headboard. I always opt for:
