Mackenzie is best known for her roles on Modern Family, Fresh Off the Boat, and a pilot episode of Our People. Kenzie has also danced and modeled for The Otis Fashion Show and The Beverly Hilton. She is trained in all styles of dance such as Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz and Musical Theater and hopes to have her own talk show someday.

Describe yourself in 3 words?
Hardworking, funny, passionate.
When did you start dancing?
I started dancing when I was 8 years old.
Did you take dancing classes?
Yes I took classes at our local studio.
How’s a typical day in your life?
School, dance, bed, repeat.
What part of your job do you find the most challenging?
The hardest part of my job is finding time to rest my body so I don’t get too sore.
What do you love most about dancing/acting?
I love how you can express all of the emotions inside of you through storytelling.
What type of dance do you like best?
I like contemporary/ballet the best because I can really focus on my technique.
Tell us about your work on “Modern Family,” and “Fresh off the Boat?”
Filming both of those shows was an amazing experience. Modern Family was such a funny scene that it took awhile to get and Fresh Off The Boat was so good that I was just invited back for another episode.
How do you recover from all the dancing and rehearsals?
My favorite thing for recovery is a lot, hot epsom salt bath!
What tips can you give to girls who want to get into dancing/acting?
I think you just need to take some classes and figure out what works best for you, and then dive right in.
What other projects you have been part of?
I just danced on another episode of Fresh Off The Boat and I danced in a Christmas video for Nia Sioux as well.
What is you favorite song? Why?
My favorite song is “You Belong To Me’ by Taylor Swift because it’s a feel good song that never fails to lift my mood.
Name one your strengths?
I think my humor is my greatest strength.
What is your own definition of happiness?
Family, for sure.
Which project is still on your bucket list?
I would love to dance on an awards show.
What’s next for Mackenzie Couch in 2019/2020?
I’m filming something fun this weekend that everyone will get to see soon.
Something people don’t know about you?
Some people don’t know that I have identical twin little sisters.
What would be the dream holiday, and who would you go with?
I would love to go to Paris with my sisters.
What is your favorite healthy food?

Pool days with my family.
What do you like to watch on Tv?
Do you support any charities?
Yes! I volunteer as much as I can but we are hosting a toy drive for the Toys For Tots organization next week to gather as many Christmas presents as we can for them!
What do you think of Social Media?
I think it’s a good platform for communicating but it’s too often used for comparison, which I do not like.
